We collect: contact information (name, email, phone, address), account credentials, job history and preferences, payment information (processed by our PCI-compliant payment processor), communications with Tradespeople, and device information (IP address, browser type).
3. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to: match you with suitable Tradespeople, process payments, send service updates and reminders, improve our platform and AI matching, comply with legal obligations, and prevent fraud. We never sell your personal data.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your data under the following lawful bases: contract performance (to deliver our services), legitimate interest (platform improvement, fraud prevention), legal obligation (tax, regulatory compliance), and consent (marketing communications, which you can withdraw anytime).
5. Data Sharing
We share your data with: Tradespeople you engage (contact details, job requirements), payment processors, hosting and infrastructure providers, and law enforcement where legally required. All third parties are bound by data processing agreements.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account closure, we retain data for 6 years to comply with legal obligations, after which it is securely deleted.
